The successful artisan donut shop in Mattituck whose nickname is NoFoDoCo will carry the same 10-variety tradition of freshly baked donuts, from jelly, cinnamon, glazed and special flavors to 1 East Main St. when it opens in fall, said employee, Kelsey Tuthill.
"Our owners (Kellly Bruguccia and Jimmy Lyons) are awesome. Many of the recipes are from Kelly's mom, a baker," she told Daily Voice.
Describing some of the popular flavors, she explained a cannoli donut has cannoli cream on top which "sinks into the hole" and has a half of cannoli shell on top of the cream.
Root Beer Float is made with a root beer glaze and ice cream flavored whipped cream, she noted.
It's the same cream that goes into a Creamsicle donut, said Tuthill.
